Abdul Hafeez Abbasi
Founder & Director
Abdul Hafeez Abbasi is the Founder and Director of The Counseling Lounge (TCL). He holds M.Sc. in Computer Sciences from Quaid-I-Azam University and an MS in Educational Leadership and Management from SZABIST Karachi. With over 20 years of direct counseling experience, his professional expertise includes adolescent behavioral counseling, career development, and implementing school-based mental health programs. He believes in a holistic, data-driven approach, combining person-centered therapy with a Cognitive-Behavioral framework to create supportive educational environments.
Hina Ali Shaikh
Co-founder & Partner
As a Co-founder and Partner, Hina Ali Shaikh holds an MS in Educational Leadership and Management from SZABIST Karachi. Her professional experience is extensive, with a focus on delivering impactful training and counseling programs in both schools and universities. She has conducted training on teacher wellness and effective counseling techniques and has collaborated with universities like Federal Urdu University and Ziauddin University. She also leads the structured Schools Counseling Program and hosts the "Ed-Insight" podcast.

Dr. Aalumgir Shah
Quality and Compliance Expert
Dr. Aalumgir Shah serves as the Quality and Compliance Expert for TCL. He earned his PhD in Educational Leadership and Management from SZABIST. He is a research and policy expert, currently leading the research portfolio for Teacher Education Policy at the Sindh Teacher Education Development Authority (STEDA). His specializations include English Language Training (ELT), communication skills, and academic writing.
Mr. Roshan
Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Liaison & Strategy Expert
Mr. Roshan is the Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) Liaison and Strategy Expert. With almost a decade of experience in managing large-scale educational projects, he is an expert in monitoring, evaluation, and contract management. He also holds a leadership position as the Director of Academics at Majma Educational Board, Karachi, and is a Visiting Faculty member at SZABIST University.
Aijaz Ali Khuwaja
Training and Capacity Building Consultant
AIJAZ ALI KHUWAJA is a seasoned Social Development and Public Health consultant with over twenty years of experience in policy formulation, institutional development, and project management. He has worked with a variety of national and international organizations, including the United Nations, UNDP, and the Public Private Partnership-Government of Sindh.

Ruby Rehman is an experienced Mind Science Coach and Counselor with a decade of experience in guiding personal and professional transformation. For the past six years, she has mentored students from schools, colleges, and universities, offering a holistic approach that integrates counseling, public speaking, and one-on-one consultancy.
